(i) a settlement is arrived at a memorandum of settlement is signed by parties to the dispute.

(ii) no settlement is arrived at, the report of conciliation officer is received by the appropriate government.

(iii) a reference is made to the court of Inquiry, Labour Court, Tribunal or National Tribunal during the pendency of conciliation proceedings.
